Autodesk develops software for people who want to create something. Autodesk gives users the opportunity to develop everything. Fusion 360 is a cloud-based 3D CAD / CAM / CAE platform for product development. It combines industrial design, mechanical design, machining and collaboration with colleagues and customers in a single solution. Fusion 360 promotes, with its numerous integrated tools, the easy and fast development of new design pages.

“As engineers and scientists, we want to use our skills to draw attention to how sustainable mobility can be. We could have done this on demonstrations and discussion forums, but that’s not what engineers usually do. Engineers want to create something and make their works speak. We are convinced that developing this is the right path for us because that is what we like the most”, said Hendrik Löbberding, Chairman of Sonnenwagen Aachen e.V. about the new cooperation.

“Autodesk’s software solutions have made it possible for us to implement such a challenging project as ours. Cloud computing and collaborative work in CAD/CAM with Autodesk Fusion 360 software helped us a lot. That is why we are very pleased that Autodesk is helping us on our way to Australia, “commented Markus Eckstein, Head of the Chassis Department of Sonnenwagen Aachen e. V., the new cooperation.
