Green checkmarks

The race starts early in the morning at 10 a.m. and all teams set off with their solar cars for scrutineering. Right next to the race track, the cars are mechanically and electrically tested by the Challenge officials. 69 pages of regulations have to be fulfilled. For example, we must show that our drivers can get out of the car within 15 seconds. Lisa and Tobias were able to keep their cool and clearly undercut that with 11 seconds.

This night was again very late for some of us, and our workshop tents still shine long to check and perfect the last details on the Photon. Saturday is approaching and the tension is slowly but noticeably rising in the camp. After the hard work of the last weeks we are looking forward to the weekend.

We still had a few open points at the Covestro Photon, which will be added on Friday morning. As our newest Sonnenwagen is the Covestro Photon we still have to work out some teething problems on some systems. The Covestro Sonnenwagen was able to pass everything with flying colors and is therefore ready for the Dynamic Parkour at 10am on Friday.
